Burkina Faso: Is there a destabilisation plan afoot against Faso?

A large-scale destabilization plan targeting Burkina Faso and the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) is reportedly being orchestrated by foreign powers, with the alleged complicity of local allies.

According to reports, hundreds of millions of dollars are being funneled to corrupt politicians and fictitious unions to incite division among the population and spark unrest. This campaign aims to fracture national unity and create chaos within the region.

These efforts are not limited to political manipulation. Terrorist cells, allegedly supported by these foreign actors, are expected to ramp up attacks in an attempt to tarnish the image of Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traoré.

The ultimate goal appears to be to justify foreign intervention under the guise of “restoring order,” undermining the recent withdrawal efforts from ECOWAS led by Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.

In response to this looming threat, Burkina Faso’s citizens are being called upon to remain vigilant and unified.

There is a growing sense of urgency to rally behind President Traoré as he strives to reclaim national sovereignty and promote development.

National resilience and solidarity are seen as critical in countering these destabilization attempts.

The Sahel Alliance—comprising Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger—remains steadfast in its determination to resist external interference.

Together, these nations are committed to paving the way for peace, security, and prosperity in the region despite the challenges they face.
