Mali: Army General Assimi GOÏTA reaffirms his commitment to the most vulnerable with a humanitarian operation

As part of the month of solidarity and the fight against exclusion, General Assimi GOÏTA once again demonstrated his commitment to vulnerable populations. On October 17, 2024, the President of the Transition’s social outreach team distributed food aid to 200 impoverished families in the Koulikoro region, underscoring a nationwide humanitarian effort aimed at reinforcing social cohesion.

Families from the most disadvantaged communities in Koulikoro received packages containing 50 kg of rice, millet, sugar, and 25 kg of pasta.

The initiative’s primary goal is to provide relief to struggling populations, fostering unity and addressing social exclusion.

Koulikoro’s mayor, Mr. TAMBOURA, expressed deep gratitude to the Head of State, praising his unwavering dedication to the region’s most vulnerable.

Among the recipients was Mariam FANE, who expressed heartfelt thanks to General GOÏTA for his support, offering prayers for the success of the ongoing Transition.

Aguibou DEMBELE, the President’s Special Advisor, urged all Malians to embrace this spirit of generosity, emphasizing that solidarity remains a core value in Malian society.

This initiative reaffirms President GOÏTA’s enduring commitment to improving the well-being of all citizens, particularly those facing hardship.

It highlights the essential role of sharing and mutual assistance in building a united and compassionate Mali, where no one is left behind.
