Burkina-Faso: The National Anti-Fraud Coordination seized 40 kg of drugs in Ouagadougou

The National Fraud Coordination (CNLF) has intercepted a significant quantity of drugs in Ouagadougou. This seizure showcases the authorities’ relentless efforts to dismantle criminal networks operating within the country. A total of 40 kilograms of Indian hemp was confiscated during the operation, based on intelligence gathered by CNLF.

The drugs were meticulously packaged in packets, with an estimated market value exceeding 10 million CFA francs,” CNLF explained.

They further stated that “faced with the professionalism of the agents, the fraudster hastily abandoned their vehicle and fled.”

This seizure by CNLF agents underscores the authorities’ commitment to effectively combat drug trafficking and protect society from its devastating effects.

Additionally, CNLF, the national coordination for combating fraud, led this successful operation.
