Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. called up to Portugal U-15 squad, Following father’s footsteps

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the 14-year-old son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has earned his first call-up to Portugal’s Under-15 national team. The young talent, currently training at Saudi club Al-Nassr alongside his father, will represent Portugal in a youth tournament in Croatia from May 13-18, facing Japan, Greece, and England.
Ronaldo Sr., 40, shared the squad announcement on social media with the caption: “Proud of you, son.” Like his father, Ronaldo Jr. has spent time in the youth academies of Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid—clubs where the elder Ronaldo cemented his legacy as one of football’s greatest players.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, still active for Portugal with a record 136 international goals, recently helped secure Portugal’s spot in the Nations League semi-finals. Now, attention turns to his son’s budding career as he begins his own journey in Portuguese colors.
