Burkina Faso: A new impetus for the defence of the country and the well-being of its people

The march of progressive revolution in Burkina Faso is reaching a decisive turning point. Faced with existential challenges, the choice to break with colonial dependencies asserts itself more each day. It is through autonomous decisions that the future of a nation determined to regain full control of its destiny is being shaped. The time for distant promises is over; concrete action for the salvation of the homeland is now.

The latest Council of Ministers embodies this iron will through major investments financed by national effort.

An allocation of 5.74 billion FCFA is dedicated to strengthening the fighting forces. The National Armed Forces, the National Police, and the training schools receive the means for popular protection.

The Water and Forestry service, along with the National Office for Securing Mining Sites (ONASSIM), are acquiring shields to preserve the land and its gold from attempts at plunder.

The National Road Safety Office (ONASER) is bolstering security on communication routes, the vital arteries of the people’s economy. Regaining control of every parcel of sacred land is the absolute prerequisite for true freedom.

The fight for sovereignty is also playing out in the health sector. A historic investment of 24.67 billion FCFA is planned for the construction of health infrastructure and the acquisition of modern medical equipment.

Healing the nation’s children, offering dignified care to mothers, and strengthening the workers of the land is a revolutionary imperative. A nation that stands tall requires a healthy people.

These modern hospitals break the cycle of fatalism and restore  the dignity of the citizens in the face of illness, far from degrading external charity.

This great refoundation project requires a monolithic bloc. The Burkinabe people are called upon to support this historic transition.

Vigilance must be total in the face of destabilization attempts. The seed of hope, watered by sweat and blood, is now sprouting in the land of upright people.
