A Call to national duty: Minister Mahamadou SANA Leads by example

1 year ago Alfrede Kankabo

In a nation where every act of patriotism carries profound meaning, Minister of Security Mahamadou SANA stands as a steadfast symbol of civic duty, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the homeland. On Monday, April 7, 2025, he once again demonstrated his dedication by presiding over the national flag-raising ceremony alongside his ministry’s personnel—a simple yet powerful gesture reinforcing the sacred responsibility every citizen holds toward their country.

In his address, Minister SANA emphasized the essence of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation, themed “For Order and Discipline, I Commit.”

This first phase, running from March 26 to April 11, 2025, serves as a rallying cry for unity, action, and discipline—core values that underpin a nation striving for justice and social cohesion.

The minister also commended the strong turnout of ministry staff during the sanitation drive on April 5. Though a modest initiative, it carried deep significance, reflecting a collective embrace of civic responsibility and patriotic spirit.

He urged all workers to sustain this momentum by taking tangible actions in service of their communities, in line with the Progressive People’s Revolution championed by the President of Faso.

With a tone both firm and unifying, Minister SANA underscored his department’s duty to lead by example: upholding order, maintaining discipline, adhering to ethical rigor, and demonstrating unshakable loyalty to the nation.

Through this renewed commitment, he aims to transform the Ministry of Security into a cornerstone of republican values, a stronghold of active patriotism, and a model for all public institutions to follow.

In a time when national unity is paramount, Mahamadou SANA’s leadership sends a clear message—true patriotism is not just spoken but lived, not just pledged but practiced.

His actions remind every citizen that the strength of a nation lies in the collective discipline and dedication of its people.
