Niger: President Abdourahamane Tiani launches a structuring project for women and young entrepreneurs

A major project has been officially launched in Niamey, marking a significant milestone in the implementation of Axis 3 of the “Vision for a Truly Independent and Prosperous Niger” led by the President of the Republic, General Abdourahamane Tiani. This project reflects a strong political will to make women and youth central drivers of the country’s economic transformation.

This innovative program is structured around three core pillars. First, it aims to strengthen the productive capacities of women and young entrepreneurs, with a focus on quality standards and innovation. This approach will enable these key actors to better position themselves in an increasingly demanding market, both nationally and internationally.

Second, the initiative includes the provision of modern information technologies to promote digital access and equip beneficiaries with tools for more efficient business management. The digital economy is now an essential driver of competitiveness, and the government is committed to ensuring no one is left behind in this transformation.

Finally, a dedicated public policy will be established to ensure the viability of micro and small enterprises. The goal is to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and provide lasting support for economic initiatives emerging from vulnerable groups. This represents a crucial step toward fully integrating women and youth into Niger’s economic renewal.

This project reflects the President’s strategic vision, as he remains true to his commitments to build a sovereign, inclusive, and resilient economy focused on endogenous development.
