Algeria’s Mansouri Islam wins the Tour Cycliste Cameroun 2025
The curtain has fallen on the 21st edition of the Cameroon Cycling Tour this Sunday, June 15, 2025, with Algeria’s Mansouri Islam claiming the overall victory. A solid leader since the 9th stage, he held on to the yellow jersey until the end, finishing with a total time of 23 hours, 24 minutes, and 39 seconds.
The 10th and final stage, covering 108.1 km between Ngoulemakong and Yaoundé, was won by German cyclist Lucas Carstensen, but that wasn’t enough to shake up the general classification.
Mansouri, riding for the Madar Pro Cycling Team, finished ahead of Burkina Faso’s Rawende Moucaila (2nd) and Germany’s Schmitz Campo (3rd). Cameroon’s Kamzong Clovis, winner of the 2024 edition, secured a respectable 5th place.
This edition was marked by the resilience of African riders in the face of strong European competition.
