DRC: Three candidates back Félix Tshisekedi

With just a few days to go before the presidential election, President Félix Tshisekedi’s camp has grown with three candidates joining his ranks. Patrice Majondo, Joëlle Bile and Noël Tshiani have joined Tshisekedi’s camp.

According to these candidates, this choice is justified by the desire to consolidate the gains made, to preserve the defence of the Democratic Republic of Congo, by preserving national sovereignty.

For Joëlle Bile, Félix Tshisekedi has «the best profile to lead the DRC to recovery». Candidate Noël Tshiani added: «The Congolese people must not vote for incompetents whose parents are neither Congolese», and he urged them to «show responsibility and vigilance when voting».

During his 30 days of campaigning, Félix Tshisekedi criss-crossed almost all the provinces of the Republic.

At his various rallies, he recalled the achievements of his first five years in office, before setting out his ambitions for his second term.

Candidate No. 20 promised to revive agriculture as an effective means of combating food insecurity and boosting GDP.

Félix Tshisékédi’s campaign slogan is «Consolidating the gains». For him, there are projects begun during the first mandate that need to be continued and completed, especially in terms of local development and security.

Today in the DRC, the population has high expectations of Félix Tshisékédi, who is asking them for a second term.

And according to his campaign manager, he has a programme that responds to the concerns of all.

The candidate President has made commitments to the people to improve their daily lives, especially in terms of youth employment. He therefore attaches importance to each of his commitments.
