Neymar Jr inducted into FC Barcelona’s Legends Hall of Fame

FC Barcelona has always had a special knack for identifying its heroes, and Neymar Jr has now officially joined the ranks of the legends of the Catalan club. Between 2013 and 2017, the prodigious Brazilian forward captured the hearts of Barça fans, leaving an indelible mark on the turf of the Camp Nou.

He was hailed as the potential successor to Lionel Messi, with performances often described as sublime. During his time at Barça, Neymar played 186 matches, scoring 105 goals, and providing 76 assists.

His contribution was crucial in winning numerous titles, including the prestigious UEFA Champions League.

Despite his controversial transfer to Paris Saint-Germain for a record-breaking fee of €220 million, Neymar has always maintained a special affection for FC Barcelona.

Although his attempts to return to the club did not materialize, his love for the Blaugrana remains undeniable.

Thus, in a gesture that may have gone unnoticed on social media, FC Barcelona has included Neymar in the “legendary players” section of its official website.

This symbolic move places Neymar alongside other club icons such as Juliano Belletti, Pedro Rodríguez, David Villa, and Ivan Rakitic.

Neymar’s inclusion in this list illustrates FC Barcelona’s recognition of his contributions.
