Burkina Faso: Launch of an ambitious agricultural campaign under the aegis of Captain Ibrahim Traoré

Led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso has launched a promising agricultural campaign, implementing a series of measures aimed at bolstering national food production.

The country’s producers have received substantial assistance, including 10,000 liters of phytosanitary products, 9893 tons of concentrated feed (SPAI), 18,000 tons of plant seeds, 1000 tons of fish feed, along with 400 tractors, 710 motor pumps, 714 motorcycles for field agents, 239 motor cultivators, and 68,964 tons of fertilizers.

These measures, announced by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, reflect Burkina Faso’s commitment to food self-sufficiency.

By providing producers with necessary tools and inputs, the government aims to boost the country’s agricultural productivity, secure food supplies, and reduce dependence on imports.

Moreover, this ambitious initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen Burkina Faso’s agricultural sector and stimulate rural development.

By investing in infrastructure, technologies, and farmer support programs, the country is paving the way for sustainable economic growth and significant improvements in citizens’ living standards.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré has expressed Burkina Faso’s determination to address food security challenges and fully harness the country’s agricultural potential.

Through this campaign, the government is mobilizing resources to create an environment conducive to agricultural prosperity and the economic transformation of Burkina Faso.
