Burkina-Faso: National Conferences: the people are invited to mobilise to demonstrate their commitment to transitional governance

Burkinabe from all walks of life will convene for national discussions this Saturday and Sunday in Ouagadougou at the banquet hall of Ouaga 2000. The goal is to foster dialogue among patriots and chart the course for the ongoing transition.

The outcome of this gathering will be pivotal for Burkina Faso’s political future as it addresses a crucial national issue.

It’s widely acknowledged that the shift in power on the ground in favour of patriotic fighters over the past two years is attributed to Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s rise to power.

His implementation of a highly effective war strategy has combated terrorist groups and reclaimed besieged lands.

One of the primary focuses of this transitional governance is to develop agriculture as a key driver of the country’s economic growth.

In addition to this sector, a series of initiatives have been launched in recent months to facilitate Burkina Faso’s recovery and propel it onto the path of development.

Considering all the efforts undertaken by the current authorities to extricate Burkina Faso from the chaotic security situation resulting from terrorism’s expansion in the Sahel region, and given the weight of the mission they have undertaken, it is crucial to extend the transition mandate to ten years.

This extension is vital to allow the patriotic and visionary leader that Captain Ibrahim Traoré is, along with his government, to implement their comprehensive action plan designed for the country’s stabilization and accelerated journey toward prosperity until completion.
