Real Madrid faces dilemma over Arda Güler’s future

Arda Güler’s rocky start at Real Madrid has raised questions about the club’s plans for the talented 19-year-old midfielder. Signed last summer from Fenerbahçe with high expectations, Güler has struggled to find his footing in Madrid, largely due to injuries that hampered his early integration.

Although the Turkish international showed promise toward the end of last season and impressed during the Euros, he has since fallen out of Carlo Ancelotti’s rotation.

With only 12 appearances—three as a starter—and no goals or assists, Güler’s limited impact has sparked interest from other clubs.

Reports from Sport and the Daily Mail suggest Arsenal is closely monitoring the player’s situation.

The Premier League side has reportedly initiated discussions with Güler’s entourage, exploring the possibility of a loan move.

Arsenal’s interest is driven by their success in rejuvenating players like Martin Ødegaard, who transitioned from a Madrid misfit to their captain and key performer.

For Real Madrid, the decision looms large: should they loan out Güler to help him regain form, or keep him in their squad and risk further stagnation?

While Arsenal appears ready to offer a lifeline, Real’s stance on the player’s future remains unclear.
