José Mourinho eyes Manchester United return: unfinished business beckons

José Mourinho, on the lookout for a fresh challenge since his departure from AS Roma, seems to have a particular destination in mind. Despite his contract with AS Roma initially set to continue until the following June, the club officially severed ties with Mourinho on January 16, citing a divergence in vision.

Now, with the tantalizing prospect of rejoining Manchester United in the summer—a club he previously managed from 2016 to 2018—Mourinho contemplates a potential return to the helm of the Red Devils.

The English media speculates that Mourinho, harboring a sense of unfinished business, is enticed by the idea of collaborating with Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The billionaire recently acquired a 25% stake in the club with aspirations to breathe new life into Manchester United—a project that aligns seamlessly with Mourinho’s ambitions.

As he takes a breather at his Barcelona residence, Mourinho reflects on the prospect of rekindling his managerial journey with the Red Devils.
