Mali: When General Assimi GOÏTA’s social work transforms people’s daily lives

Staying true to his vision of a more equitable and united Mali, General Assimi GOÏTA continues to carry out social initiatives across the country with determination. This week, two new boreholes were inaugurated—one in the commune of Faladié Sokoro and another at the Right Bank Education Academy—as part of the Presidency’s social outreach efforts. These vital infrastructures, aimed at improving access to clean drinking water, were delivered by a delegation led by Special Advisor Aguibou DEMBELE, once again symbolizing the government’s strong commitment to meeting the population’s concrete needs.

The presidential delegation was warmly welcomed by residents, who expressed heartfelt gratitude. Mr. Moussa Diawara, neighborhood chief of Faladié Sokoro, openly shared his emotion and appreciation for this latest gesture from the President of the Transition, recalling the many social initiatives already implemented in the area since the start of the transition. Alongside him, a representative from the mayor’s office of Commune VI emphasized the direct impact these boreholes will have on school life—particularly for students and teachers who will now benefit from safe, accessible water.

These achievements are more than just infrastructure projects; they reflect a clear and humane vision for national development. Ms. Dedeou Mahamane, head of the beneficiary education academy, praised the initiative for both strengthening the foundation of the education system and improving daily living conditions. Special Advisor Aguibou DEMBELE reaffirmed that such concrete actions demonstrate President Assimi GOÏTA’s commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive Mali, where every citizen can thrive in a dignified and respectful living environment.
