Burkina Faso: The commitment of the FDS, the determination of the State and national solidarity, a solid bulwark against terrorism

The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) embody, day after day, the resilience and courage of a nation striving for peace. Committed to the field with determination, these men and women carry out their mission with admirable bravery, often at the risk of their lives. Their involvement in the fight against terrorism commands respect and reflects their deep devotion to their homeland.

In recent weeks, operations conducted on multiple fronts have once again demonstrated the FDS’s ability to adapt, respond effectively, and secure key areas for civilian populations. Through these actions, an entire army stands with pride to defend the territorial integrity of Burkina Faso.

All of this has been made possible thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Burkinabe government. Under the leadership of President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, resources have been allocated to the armed forces in terms of equipment and logistics, reflecting a strong political will to restore security throughout the country.

Added to this is the mobilization of the people behind these national heroes and their government. Together, they form a solid barrier against any adversity. The commitment of the FDS, backed by state support and national solidarity, today represents a beacon of hope for Burkina Faso.
