Burkina-Faso: The Chief of Staff of the Gendarmerie visits his troops on the Nakambé bridge
The Burkinabe government has made the adequate care of injured personnel in operations and the improvement of working and living conditions for defense and security forces a top priority.
Following a conference on enhancing the care and reintegration of injured personnel in operations, military authorities have increased their presence alongside combat forces striving for peace in Burkina Faso.
This Tuesday, alongside troops stationed at the Nakambé bridge, the Chief of Staff of the gendarmerie, Colonel Kouagri Natama, witnessed firsthand the realities faced by the Nakambé troops.
During this visit, the Colonel, along with the commander of the First Gendarmerie Legion, Lieutenant Colonel Théophile Tago, and other intermediate chain of command officials, encouraged the detachment and reiterated the efforts of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to improve their living and working conditions.
The detachment was reassured of all measures taken by military authorities to expedite progress.
