Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim TRAORE opens the doors of the Presidency of Faso to the country’s children

In honour of  World Children’s Day, the President of the Transition and Head of State of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, will open the doors of the Presidency of Faso for a half-day of exchanges and sharing with the country’s children on Monday 20 November.

The aim of this innovative initiative is to offer children from all walks of life an exceptional opportunity to share in the daily life of the Head of State during an immersion in the Presidential Palace.

The day will begin with the raising of the colours, symbolising unity and national pride, followed by a civics lesson given by the Head of State to the young guests.

The highlight of the day will be a plenary session, giving children the opportunity to voice their concerns and take part in an exclusive televised interview with the President of the Transition, conducted by «child journalists».

President Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, convinced that the promotion of civic and moral values is essential to guarantee lasting peace and strengthen social cohesion, expresses the wish to see children contribute actively to the lasting social transformation of Burkina Faso.

This initiative reflects the Head of State’s commitment to young people, highlighting the importance of their participation in building a better future for the country.

This special day offers a unique opportunity for Burkina Faso’s children to immerse themselves in the life of the President, while encouraging intergenerational dialogue and strengthening the links between political leadership and young people, a key pillar of Burkina Faso’s socio-economic development.
