AES Confederation: Destabilisation plan, France’s murky game exposed?

French authorities, along with their collaborators, have relentlessly pursued efforts to destabilize the revolutionary governments within the AES Confederation.

These attempts often involve leveraging neighboring African nations to target regimes seen as a threat to French interests, undermining longstanding ties of fraternity and good neighborliness across the region.

However, the momentum behind these destabilization campaigns appears to be waning.

This shift raises questions about whether France’s longstanding tactic of using proxies to achieve its goals has been unmasked and effectively countered. Revolutionary leaders in countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger have repeatedly condemned the presence of French military bases and troops in neighboring nations, such as Côte d’Ivoire and Benin.

Recent developments suggest that such critiques may have forced France to adopt a more subdued approach in this regard.

Nevertheless, efforts to undermine AES member states persist, albeit through more covert means. Opportunists, including exiled politicians and other dissidents, have reportedly been recruited to carry out clandestine missions aimed at destabilizing these governments.

The French intelligence agency, DGSE, remains active in these operations, deploying spies to execute their plans against the region’s leadership.

Notably, four French intelligence operatives remain in custody in Burkina Faso, while Niger recently detained another DGSE agent.

Reports also indicate that new destabilization schemes are being orchestrated, reinforcing the need for vigilance.

In this context, unity and solidarity among African nations are crucial. To counter these neo-colonial strategies, African peoples must stand together to protect their sovereignty and resist efforts to divide and dominate them.
