Togo highlights its economic opportunities at the Inter-African Trade Fair

Togo is actively showcasing its economic opportunities at the third edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) in Cairo, Egypt, which opened on November 9.

The Togolese representation is demonstrating unwavering commitment in this significant gathering, aiming to present the government’s roadmap projects and incentive framework to attract investors.

Through exhibitions, various economic operators, public institutions such as the Ministry of Investment Promotion, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Center for Exhibitions and Fairs will collaborate to highlight the economic opportunities offered by the country.

It’s noteworthy that Togo has undergone multiple reforms in recent years, positioning itself as a reference in the world for business-friendly environments.

IATF 2023 aims to provide a unique platform to facilitate the exchange of information on trade and investment, supporting the growth of intra-African trade and investment, especially in the context of the African Continental Free Trade Area.

In addition to African participants, companies and investors from non-African countries looking to do business in Africa and support its transformation through industrialization and export development are also present at this fair.

The 2023 edition brings together 1,600 exhibitors from 57 countries, along with political and economic decision-makers.
