PSG edges past Arsenal to reach Champions League final

Paris Saint-Germain survived a tense battle against Arsenal to secure a 2-1 victory and book their place in the Champions League final. Despite a dominant Arsenal start, with Thomas Partey dictating play and Martinelli testing Donnarumma early, PSG struck first against the run of play. Fabián Ruiz capitalized on a poor clearance from Partey to fire home (27’).

The Parisians grew into the game, with Kvaratskhelia hitting the post (17’) and Barcola missing two big chances before halftime. Donnarumma’s heroics (64’) and Vitinha’s missed penalty (69’) kept PSG ahead before Hakimi’s curled effort doubled the lead (72’). Arsenal pulled one back through Saka (76’), but PSG held firm despite late pressure.

Luis Enrique’s side will now face Inter Milan in Munich in the final on May 31, as the Parc des Princes erupted in relief and joy. A hard-fought win keeps their European dream alive.
