Burkina-Faso/Captain Ibrahim Traoré: The emblematic figure of an Africa reaffirming its sovereignty, the man who makes imperialism tremble

It all began with the rise of Captain Ibrahim Traoré to the leadership of Burkina Faso. Now at the helm of the “Land of Upright People,” President Traoré has brought new momentum to the country’s governance, sparking significant change at all levels. His bold stances, sovereign vision for Burkina Faso and Africa as a whole, and especially his fight against imperialism and neocolonialism have made him the number one enemy of imperialist powers.

Having become a symbol of an Africa determined to take control of its own destiny and reject all forms of subjugation, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has become a prime target for imperialists. His strategic alignment with Russia, China, and others—at the expense of France and the United States—has only strengthened the resolve of those who seek to bring him down.

This is no longer speculation. These imperialist powers have a clear objective: eliminate the man who embodies a vision of Africa breaking free from past alliances rooted in domination. But today, the sovereign struggle led by revolutionary Ibrahim Traoré has resonated across the entire African people—even those scattered throughout the world.

Voices have risen. People across the continent are standing up against any attempt to harm the Burkinabè president. All of Africa is now aware of the importance of this struggle. Africans committed to the continent’s emancipation must intensify their mobilization and stand united against those whose sole aim is to keep Africa in a state of domination. It is time to join forces—only unity in the face of adversity can lead to victory.
