Football/ Tunisia defeats Burkina Faso 2-0 in International friendly

Tunisia secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Burkina Faso in an international friendly match played Monday at the Stade de Radès. The Carthage Eagles benefited from an Edmond Tapsoba own goal in the 60th minute, followed by a strike from Hazem Mastouri to seal the win.

The match marked both teams’ preparation for upcoming fixtures. Burkina Faso will face Zimbabwe in another friendly on June 6 in Morocco, while Tunisia tests itself against Morocco’s national team later the same day at Stade de Fès (20:00 GMT).

These friendlies provide crucial preparation as African nations fine-tune their squads during the international break. Tunisia’s convincing performance against Burkina Faso demonstrates their growing form ahead of tougher competition against Morocco’s Atlas Lions.
