Burkina Faso: A secret plan by the DGSE to plunge the country into chaos?

For several weeks, alarming reports have been circulating about a covert plan allegedly orchestrated by France, through its intelligence agency DGSE, to sow chaos in Burkina Faso and across the subregion. According to leaked information from officials at the Élysée, the plan involves targeted assassinations—such as Catholic religious leaders—framed on certain Muslim communities in order to spark communal tensions and render the country ungovernable by the end of the year. This scenario echoes the old destabilization tactics once used by France in the Central African Republic.

The project, as described, would consist of orchestrating targeted killings of influential figures, particularly religious leaders, with the aim of setting communities against each other. The ultimate goal would be to provoke a popular uprising and push the people to demand the ousting of President Ibrahim Traoré. Behind this strategy lies the cold logic of those who prefer to manipulate public opinion through fear and division.

Even more troubling is that the plan would not only target Burkina Faso but also Mali, Niger, and even Togo. The entire region could thus be trapped in a spiral of manufactured crises, undermining efforts to build a sovereign and stable future for its people.

These revelations should serve as a wake-up call for public opinion. Collective vigilance is crucial to thwart such maneuvers. History has shown that if such plots are not exposed and countered in time, they pave the way for human and political tragedies. Resistance lies in unity and in clear-sightedness against those pulling strings from the shadows.
