Mali: Solidarity and the well-being of the people at the heart of President Assimi Goïta’s priorities

The Reference Health Center (CSREF) of Commune II in Bamako is undergoing a true transformation. As of Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the facility now benefits from a new solar power installation, putting an end to the power outages that previously disrupted medical services.

This initiative is part of the social outreach efforts led by the President of the Transition, Army General Assimi Goïta, who continues to work toward improving the daily lives of Malians, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Thanks to the new solar electrification system, medical staff can now provide uninterrupted service around the clock, without fear of power cuts. This marks a major step forward for emergency care, medical testing, and patient comfort.

Spearheaded by the President’s Special Advisor in charge of social initiatives, this project reflects the government’s commitment to meeting the real needs of the population.

Through this impactful action, President Goïta reaffirms his dedication to improving the living conditions of Malians, placing solidarity and well-being at the heart of his priorities.
