Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Giving more power to the army in 2024

It is more than necessary to give more power to the Burkina Faso army, for the fight against terrorism, in the coming year, i.e. in 2024. Burkina Faso’s fighters have shown what they are capable of in the face of criminals, with the war material made available to them and the training they have received.

War materiel and military logistics adapted to the situation in the “land of Honest people” have been made available to the army, thanks above all to the many contributions of the people of Burkina Faso and to the enlightened vision of the President of the transition, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

Today, we also realise that, with the support of the imperialists and their local accomplices, the enemy does not want to back down, and is seeking to become even stronger.

Fortunately, the fighters are also determined to see this war through to the end, in order to bring victory back to their country.

It must be acknowledged that all those involved or committed to this fight against the terrorists, in particular the FDS and VDP, the transitional authorities and the conscious population, are doing their best to achieve more concrete results and more victories over the forces of evil.

But there is still work to be done to achieve the objectives set, such as the eradication of terrorism and the reconquest of the entire national territory, to finally ensure the effective and sustainable development of the country.

To achieve this, additional efforts and sacrifices will have to be made, as the people of Burkina Faso have decided to wage their own war against criminals.

The authorities are continuing to recruit and train fighters, who will need the necessary equipment for combat, as well as those who are already on the ground.

This is why the contributions of all Burkinabe must not be interrupted until the end of the war. The year 2024 must be a decisive year in this fight.
