Manchester City clinches historic Quintuple with Dominant Club World Cup Victory

On Friday, in Saudi Arabia, Manchester City clinched the Club World Cup, crushing Brazilian side Fluminense 4-0 in the final.

Under the guidance of Pep Guardiola, the Sky Blues dominated the Brazilians in all aspects of the game.

They opened the scoring as early as the 1st minute, thanks to Argentine Julian Alvarez.

In the 27th minute, City doubled their lead with an unfortunate own goal from Brazilian defender Nuno.

At halftime, Manchester City’s supremacy, even without their Norwegian striker Haaland, was undeniable.

In the second half, Phil Foden added a third goal in the 72nd minute, followed by another goal from Julian Alvarez, bringing the score to 4-0.

Having already secured victories in the FA Cup, Premier League, Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup, Manchester City completes a historic quintuple with this Club World Cup triumph.
