Mali: FAMa strikes hard this weekend, destroying yet more terrorist bases in the Kayes region
The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) once again demonstrated their strength this weekend by carrying out decisive operations in the Kayes region. The localities of Sandaré and Lambatara, used as hideouts by Armed Terrorist Groups (ATGs), were precisely targeted by the deployed units.
The strikes, executed with remarkable efficiency, resulted in the complete destruction of enemy bases. Several dozen terrorist fighters were neutralized, while significant logistical and material stockpiles were destroyed. These outcomes confirm the tactical and operational superiority of the FAMa over extremist groups.
This new victory is part of the ongoing offensive strategy pursued for several months by the Malian forces. The FAMa are gradually reducing the capacity of terrorist groups to cause harm while strengthening the security of populations in the affected areas.
Military authorities reaffirmed that these actions are conducted with unwavering determination and that no sanctuary will be left for the enemies of peace. The strategy combines air, ground, and intelligence operations, ensuring constant pursuit and rapid neutralization of hostile cells.
Currently, the FAMa continue their patrols in the Kayes region, tracking down dispersed terrorist elements.
