Togo/G20 Summit: President Faure Gnassingbe seeks to attract German investors

Private sector investments in Togo, especially those from foreign businesses, are a priority for the President of the Togolese Republic, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe. That is why he is making every effort to provide a highly attractive business environment for both national and international economic operators.

The measures and achievements in this regard will be presented by the Togolese head of state at the 4th G20 Compact with Africa (G20-CwA) summit, taking place this Monday, November 20, in Berlin, Germany.

The summit brings together German and African leaders, representatives of financial institutions, and German economic operators.

Germany’s investment initiative aims to facilitate discussions that can strengthen economic cooperation between these countries, particularly in the energy sector, and to discuss the promotion of private investment in Africa.

This is a great opportunity for President Faure Gnassingbe to highlight the investment opportunities that Togo offers, thanks to numerous reforms implemented in this direction.

It is also an occasion for the Togolese president to assess the successful cooperation between Togo and Germany.

The goal is to attract more foreign investors to various sectors, with a view to the effective and sustainable development of Togo.
