Algeria: President Tebboune implements significant changes to the Presidency and the army
The latest edition of the Official Journal has unveiled a series of crucial presidential decisions by President Tebboune, resulting in substantial modifications within the presidential apparatus and the army. As per the presidential decree, Kamal Sidi Saïd’s role as the presidential chargé de mission is concluding, paving the way for new responsibilities for this senior presidential official.

Concurrently, in another presidential decree, the mission of General Major Mustapha Oudjani as the Controller General of the army will terminate on October 22, 2023.
Hadj Bousseldja has been officially appointed as the new Controller General of the Army in his stead.
