The Patriotic Support Fund (FSP) of Burkina Faso recorded an exceptional mobilization of over 101 billion CFA francs in the first half of 2025, according to a report recently published by the authorities. This achievement brings the country closer to its annual target of 150 billion CFA francs aimed at supporting the national defense effort.

Between January 1 and June 30, 2025, exactly 101.8 billion CFA francs were raised, reflecting the strong involvement of citizens, businesses, and public institutions.

As of June 22, cumulative receipts amounted to 96.7 billion CFA francs, distributed as follows:

  • Tax levies: 56 billion CFA francs, including SODIBO/BRAKINA (26.8 billion), the special contribution on profits (22.8 billion), LIBS BRASSERIES (2.6 billion), and other industrial companies such as DAFANI, MABUCIG, and TWELLIUM.

Efficient budget execution

A strengthened national commitment

This half-year performance reflects Burkina Faso’s determination to actively support its security and defense policy. The momentum underway raises hopes of surpassing the annual target, in a context where national solidarity plays a key role in resilience against security challenges.
