Burkina Faso: A civic camp in Pabré, a living reflection of Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s patriotic vision

In Pabré, from September 7 to 15, 2025, an educational camp for the youth and adolescents of Kadiogo is being held under the theme: “Youth Committed to Change.” This gathering—civic, cultural, and strategic—falls in line with the national momentum driven by the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP). Organized by the Regional Directorate of Youth and Employment of Kadiogo, the event marks a new milestone in fostering patriotism, community engagement, and leadership among Burkinabe youth.

This educational camp reflects the local implementation of the political vision of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, who has placed youth, national sovereignty, and endogenous transformation at the heart of the State’s rebuilding project. The Head of State is methodically working to establish governance rooted in proximity, patriotic consciousness, active citizenship, and the rise of a new generation of development actors.

Young participants, trained in active citizenship, peace, leadership, and the culture of living together, are becoming the true messengers of the transformation envisioned by the President of Faso for a new Faso. The camp aims to break passive patterns, encourage community resilience, and shape Burkinabe who are proud, aware, and committed.

It embodies a sovereign and pan-African approach to civic education, where the transmission of patriotic values is achieved through proximity, cultural grounding, and community responsibility. This structural approach, free from external conditionalities, positions Burkina Faso on a path of self-centered development, resilient and strategically aligned with national challenges.

Patriotism, instilled from an early age, is no longer just a slogan but a school of life. Like the youth of Pabré, the entire nation is reorganizing around core values such as integrity, collective commitment, community spirit, and faith in Africa. These pillars form the foundation of an authentic sovereignty that Captain Ibrahim Traoré is establishing with method and firmness across all public policies.
