Foot: Marcelino Returns to Villarreal as Head Coach After Brief Marseille Stint

Less than two months after his arrival at Olympique de Marseille, Marcelino has already found a new club. As expected, he has been chosen by Villarreal to succeed Pacheta.

The Spanish coach will lead the Yellow Submarine for the second time in his career after his initial stint between 2012 and 2016.

«Villarreal CF and Marcelino García Toral have reached an agreement for the Asturian to be the coach of the Yellow Submarine until 2026. The team, now under Marcelino García Toral’s command, will undergo a double training session tomorrow at Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza, at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm respectively. The presentation press conference will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, starting at 1:30 pm, in the press room of the Estadio de la Cerámica, during an event exclusively for the media», the statement dated from Monday 13th said.
